The biggest fair for printers seems to have become the biggest fair for print applications. Walking through the halls you will spot an enormous variety of print applications. And that is exactly what the new Print Power magazine is promoting. Promoting the use of print in its various forms and shapes.
In terms of products and applications this is probably one of the most exciting Drupas. Especially at the digital front, many new print products were shown. Very high quality presses and high volume equipment with whistles and bells were featured in the Halls 17, 8a/b and 5. Almost all manufacturers we spoke were very positive about how the fair (this probably equals sales) was doing. We are delighted that the Print Power magazine is part of this positive vibe at Drupa this year. Next to our 10 languages we produce for 11 countries, we produced a dedicated Drupa version with a circulation of 8,000. This was freely distributed to visitors. Furthermore Canon was printing yet another version live at their booth. During the entire duration of Drupa we will probably distribute a total of almost 20.000 copies of the magazine.
This issue features the role of print in the media mix for the organisers, sponsors and many brands launching football-themed campaigns this summer surrounding Euro 2016. Also articles from Thought Leaders such as Sabine Geldermann, director of Drupa and Silas Amos, design consultant on why print has plenty to be proud of.
If you haven't yet claimed a copy, ensure you take one away with you to stay up-to-date on why print is a powerful and effective means of communication.
